Abstract Submission
All researchers from scientific intuitions and industry are highly encouraged to submit (collaborative) her or his current research on (but not exclusively) the topics mentioned here condensed to a two-pager abstract using the form introduced below. Authors of outstanding abstracts will be invited submitting a full-paper in spring 2025 to a Special Issue in Elsevier’s Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment.
Abstracts should be submitted in English until 15 November 2024 (23:59 CET).
With the submission of an abstract you will be pre-registered. But only a registration of one presenting author until 15 March 2025 guarantees an inclusion into the final programme. You receive your personal registration link together with the notification of acceptance (together with the decision on oral or poster presentation) via email by 15 January 2025.
All abstracts must be submitted via the EVC 2025 website. Abstracts sent by fax or email will not be accepted. You are required to submit only one version of your abstract. Please also note that depending on the total number of abstracts we receive, it might be necessary to limit the number of presentations given by the same participant.
Your abstract should fit two DIN A4 size pages and should be formatted as described in the following Word and PDF-Document. Insert your abstract in the template provided and then upload the file. Your abstract must be submitted in English and stay within the given formatting and boundaries of the template. Please indicate in the manuscript if you prefer an oral or a poster presentation.

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee. Final decision on oral/poster presentation is subject to the decision of the Program Committee. Depending on the type of paper and its content we may allocate your contribution to a poster or oral session.
Registration
The registration process will open in January 2025. More information on registration will be published on this website by the end of 2024.
The regular conference fee is 800 € including Gala Conference Dinner on 14 May.
If you come from one of the following countries or are an enrolled student, select “reduced” when registering. The reduced fee for students and participants from developing countries is 400€ including Gala Conference Dinner on 14 May.
